Many barriers exist that can prevent us from seeing the cross clearly. We want to attempt to remove those barriers and share the gospel.

"Christ is King." Any genuine Christian would wholeheartedly agree with that statement, acknowledging that because the Lord is King, we will bow the knee and worship Him in spirit and in truth. So when did that statement become a dog whistle for anti-Semitism? In this episode of the Removing Barriers podcast, recurring guest host Sam join us as we discuss the less-than-amicable parting between Daily Wire and Candace Owens and Andrew Klavan's explanation of it. Apparently, Candace's declaration that Christ is King was the last straw that saw her booted from the company and labeled a bona-fide anti-Semite. Why would that be the case? Could it be that the Klavan, though a professing Christian, has deep issues with the exclusivity of Christ? RBP 166: Alistair Begg: LGBTQIA Unions and Dealing with Sin

Alistair Begg is a well-known and well-respected pastor and Bible teacher who inadvertently set the world of Christian netizens ablaze when he revealed that he encouraged a Christian grandmother to not only attend an LGBTQ wedding, but to also bring a gift. While he had some supporters in this matter, the majority were shocked and appalled by this stance so uncharacteristic of a man who had proven himself to be a faithful man of God for well over 40 years. Responding to the critics, Begg doubled down, rejected calls for repentance, and dismissed them as Pharisaical legalists incapable of nuance and lacking compassion.
In this episode of the Removing Barriers podcast, we will address the obvious questions as to whether or not his counsel was biblically sound and whether his response to criticism was right. RBP 164: Dexter Reed: A Soul for Which Christ Died

The United States is in the midst of great political and social turmoil, and it seemed that the tragic case of Dexter Reed would be a sort of George Floyd 2.0. In the immediate aftermath of the showdown with police, It was revealed that five plain-clothes officers fired 96 rounds at Dexter Reed: another helpless black man gunned down by white cops. "They shot him 96 times for no reason!" was the battle cry, and the usual race-baiting social justice 'leaders' quickly slithered in to represent the family, shoving the grieving mother in front of rolling cameras to speak about her son. They got the drama they wanted when she collapsed mid-sentence in her grief, and so began the cries against fundamentally racist America and the drum-banging for social justice, egging on emotional bystanders who had yet to fully comprehend what had even actually happened in the first place. Who was Dexter Reed? What happened the day he was stopped by police officers? Why did they shoot so many times? In this episode of the Removing Barriers podcast, we will examine all the available facts of this case and peel back the political, social, and spiritual layers of the story. We will debunk the sensationalism and politicization of the encounter, getting down to the facts: the most important of which is that if nothing else, Dexter Reed was a soul for which Christ died.

In this episode, Dr. Benach shares his testimony, how the Lord Jesus Christ saved him after hearing the word of God at a Baptist church service that he discovered after a sweet lady called his house by accident--thrice! He also discusses Judaism (having been born and raised in an Orthodox Jewish home) and how to witness to the Jewish people that they might know their Messiah. The current turmoil in Israel has not taken our Lord by surprise, and Christians everywhere can be sure that God's plan for Israel does not include defeat at the hand of our enemy, the devil. Whenever we encounter a Jewish person, therefore, let's take what we learn from this podcast and share with them the good news of Jesus Christ.

The only saving grace is that Christ has conquered sin and death and has promised to return! This week, we discuss Kanye West, disease X, banks, and Bill Maher. What do these seemingly unrelated things have in common, you ask? They've all gone bonkers, that's what! Kanye West declares himself to be God, governments and institutions are looking for a new disease to crown as the new pandemic, banks seem willing to facilitate government surveillance by screening and reporting purchases that draw their ire for whatever reason, and Bill Maher says he is okay with murder! If you take away anything from this episode, let it remind you not to put your trust in man or in chariots, but instead, look to the Lamb of God!
