Who Could Be Dumber Than The Rocks - Luke 19:28-40

Who Could Be Dumber Than The Rocks - Luke 19:28-40

In this episode we examine the fascinating account of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, fulfilling multiple prophecies of the Old Testament.  In Luke's Gospel account, he gives us amazing insight into the Deity of Jesus and how many people of that day were impacted by His ministry and miracles.  As Jesus prepares to enter into Jerusalem, riding on a colt of a donkey, He is the King, although His purpose is to fulfill the Father's plan.  In a short four days, as this corresponds with the "Paschal Lamb" Jesus will die upon a cruel cross, dying that God's wrath might 'passover' those that accept His divine sacrifice.
Join us as we delve deeply into the meaning of the passage and what has led to this point.  Jesus, on the 'preparation day' before Passover, becomes God's Lamb to take away the sin of the world, to as many as receive Him.  We also see those, blinded by their religious fury, that reject Him, even with multiple evidences of His divine origin, and become, dumber than the rocks!  Don't join those that refuse the proof at hand and be dumber than the rocks!

This comprehensive study leads us through the informative fifth chapter of 1 Thessalonians where we consider global happenings - from political shifts in Israel to controversies within Islam and worldwide violence. The exploration continues as we delve further into whether these events are prophesied in the Bible and evaluate our role during these turbulent times.
As the teachings of Apostle Paul to the Thessalonians come under the lens, we aim to underline the intensity of sin, impending wrath, and divine judgement. However, this introspection is not lacking compassion, kindness, and the act of sharing the Gospel, revealing a compelling message of deliverance through Christ. Journey with us into the detailed analysis of the 'Day of The Lord,' as we make sense of its consequences in relation to the much-anticipated event we call 'the rapture.'
The fact of the rapture, the sequence leading to The Day of the Lord, and its eventual unfolding form the crux of the narrative. Learn from the Apostle Paul's teachings as this discourse shifts from the 'when' of these divine events to the 'inevitability' of their occurrence and underscores the emphasis on continuous preparation and anticipation.
This sermon spans from 2nd Thessalonians to the Book of Daniel and expands on impending global upheavals, the rise of the antichrist, and false prophetic claims. Scenarios like widespread apostasy, the surge of demonic influences, and celestial disruptions are explored in this fascinating interpretation of predicted events. The podcast concludes with the urgent message for believers to remain alert, maintain spiritual readiness, share the Gospel, and cherish a simple yet meaningful faith.
Gain in-depth knowledge about end-time prophecies, the importance of evangelization, and cultivate an understanding of living in anticipation of the Lord's return.
