This week, Ruud van der Ham joins Ben and introduces his Python library "Salabim". It is an open-source discrete-event library that allows not only flexible DES models but even animation. Ruud coded it from scratch over the course of several months and shares the advantages and differences from other packages and commercial tools

We are back after a long Christmas break with Frédérick Faucher from Direxyon, a Canadian software development firm that primarily creates tools for asset management decisions. Benjamin and Frédérick talk about their propriatary agent-based simulation tool for asset management that focuses on radical ease of use so any engineer can go create insights.
