The 808 is arguably the most iconic drum machine ever made. Even if you’ve never heard of it, you’ve definitely heard it. In this episode, we try to understand how that happened and follow the unlikely path of the 808. Featuring DJ Jazzy Jeff and Paul McCabe from Roland.

Amazing podcast about sound

Most things are video today, but the right place to talk about sound must be in a podcast, and no better to do it than DeFacto Sound. This is one of the most professional podcasts I've heard on the subject. Fun, professional, to the point and entertaining. All I can say is WOW - when is the next one in, I'll be there!
