Trust is vital in life. We all know that. But it is even more important in the matter of our soul's salvation. Whom are we trusting in to save us-- Is our faith in the philosophies of men-- Or in Christ-- In men or in God--

In a materialistic world, we need to hear Christ's teaching on possessions. Where is our treasure-- In material things-- Or in heavenly things-- It's a matter of the heart.

Man's knowledge is incomparable with God's knowledge. Here is how he knows us better than we know ourselves, how he knows our true and deepest needs, his concerned knowledge, his full acquaintance with the severity of our sin against him, and yet his willingness to forgive still.

The second half of the Lord's teaching on prayer. We must pray for ourselves, for our material as well as spiritual needs, for daily forgiveness and deliverance from powerful temptations. Above all, prayer is born out of our relationship with our heavenly Father.
