The San Francisco Giants took the rubber match today at Oracle Park over the Houston Astros, 5-3 final score. Logan Webb tossed six strong innings and added to his case to make the 2024 National League All-Star team. The San Francisco Giants big fourth inning was key in their win today, after a pitch nearly hit Mike Yastrzemski in the face, the team put together an emotional rally to plate three runs in the inning and take a four-run lead. POSTCAST: Giants Offense Continues to Struggle in Loss to Houston Astros
The San Francisco Giants fell to the Houston Astros 3-1 today at Oracle Park. The offense continues to be a huge problem for the San Francisco Giants, as they mustered just three hits today in the loss, with Brett Wisely providing the lone RBI on a solo home run. Aside from Wisley, the San Francisco Giants only managed to put one runner in scoring position for the rest of this game. Three hits is not a recipe to win many games in the MLB. They will look to win the series in tomorrow's rubber match.

POSTCAST: Keaton Winn Pedestrian in Return From IL as Giants Can't Finish Off Sweep
The San Francisco Giants couldn't finish off the sweep against the Texas Rangers in the final game of their three-game series, falling 7-2 at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Keaton Winn returned from the injury list today and got the start for the San Francisco Giants, but was ineffective on the mound as he surrendered seven runs over just 4 1/3 innings pitched. The offense sputtered as well, as Heliot Ramos, Michael Conforto, and Wilmer Flores all failed to collect a hit in this one.
