Shalom and welcome to our study. In this section, we're going to study the last few verses of Luke's Gospel chapter 13. And we should expect something Messiah understood that in the last days, there would be that remnant of Israel that came to faith. In fact, the apostle Paul, in Romans chapter 11, he also anticipated a time when Jewish people would indeed except Messiah.

In the passage that we're going to be studying today, we find the term Shabbat or the Sabbath day. Now, let's get a few things very clear. When we talk about Shabbat, many times people will say, Are we supposed to keep the Shabbat? Understand today without a temple in Jerusalem? There cannot be Shabbat observance according to what the Bible demands. Why is that?

Our last study, we saw that you're sure was invited to one of the leaders of the Pharisees for Shabbat, in order to have a meal with these individuals. But it just wasn't one of the leaders of the Pharisees. We see also that there were experts of the law who were also invited. And we learned something. The purpose of this meal was not to truly host him, but rather, there was an attempt to discredit him to shame him to embarrass him.

We are now ready for the last section of Psalm 119. The final letter in the Hebrew alphabet, the letter Tov, and again, in each of these sections that we have studied together these 22 sections, each one of them begins with a different Hebrew letter. The first one, of course, is the aleph. And now we've gone through the entire alphabet.

God's way is always the best way. Do you really believe that? See, here's what happens many times, we find ourselves in a difficult situation. And instead of trusting God, remaining faithful to His word, and behaving according to his character, what do we do, we turn away from his commands, and we begin to act do behave in a way that is contrary to who he is, and what his word admonishes us to do. In other words, we panic and we rely upon self and sometimes relying upon self leads to ungodly behavior, or ungodly speech.

One of the great benefits about experiencing redemption from our Messiah through faith in that gospel message is that God promises never to leave us nor forsake us. And one of the implications of that is that God will help us when we turn to Him, independence, in trust, and in reliance, he is always faithful to His people.
