    The time has now come, 
    To say the final goodbyes.
    The moment is finally here,
    This hasn’t been a surprise. 

    PAUSE

    The tears keep escaping,
    And my throat won’t let pass,
    All the words I want to say,
    While I have you in my grasp. 

    PAUSE

    My mind is a mixture, 
    Of memories and gratitude.
    I’m trying to be present, 
    So I don’t come unglued. 

    PAUSE

    It hits me in small moments, 
    As I’m called to look back,
    Just how magical it has been,
    To have walked along this path.

    PAUSE

    The memories, the lessons, 
    And all the love from others.
    They’ve all become a part of me,
    Blended waves and vibrant colors. 

    PAUSE

    Excitement, 
    Regret, 
    And Wisdom, 
    Let them all swirl somehow. 
    Inhale, 
    Exhale, 
    And be here, 
    The end of an era is now. 

    LONG PAUSE

    Love begins to flood me, 
    As I appreciate all that’s been. 
    A little anxiety bubbles up,
    Knowing what’s ‘round the bend. 

    PAUSE

    Let yourself feel the feels,
    I tell myself with grace. 
    This is what life’s about, 
    Surrender and embrace. 

    PAUSE

    As I say goodbye to all of this,
    And turn my gaze ahead,
    I’m reminded that it’s all a game,
    It lightens my heavy head. 

    PAUSE

    Slow it down,
    And let it go, 
    Everything’s all okay. 
    Open up,
    Feel it all, 
    Let it float away. 

    LONG PAUSE

    Turn the page and carry on,
    And take a step ahead. 
    You have new chapters to write, 
    And more love for you to spread. 

    PAUSE

    Let the tears dry and settle in,
    To the newness that awaits.
    The next era is upon you,
    It’s all yours to create.

    To all of you mothers, 
    Whose babies are new,
    Who sleeplessly hold your sweet ones.

    May you find rest,
    And know in your soul,
    You can handle whatever comes. 

    PAUSE

    To all of you moms, 
    Who have little kids,
    Whose values you’re trying to mold. 

    I know it is heavy,
    But Divine is right here,
    Helping you to carry the load. 

    PAUSE

    To all of you mothers, 
    Deep in the teens,
    Doing your best to survive.

    Keep showing up,
    As the mother they need,
    And watch as they thrive.

    To all of you mamas,
    Whose kids are grown up,
    Carving out paths all alone.

    And let them live lives of their own.

    Who have said goodbye,
    To your mother whose time had come.

    I deeply honor you. 
    Breathe and sink in,
    To your motherly truth.

    Feel your motherly essence, 
    Swirl with the past,
    With the women who’ve mothered your soul. 

    Let it surround you,
    As you mother your own,
    Beautiful mama, you are whole.

    There is sweet comfort,
    Knowing there is,
    An invisible, unspoken bond.

    Between all us moms, 
    Who won’t judge or pry,
    We’ll do anything to bring calm.

    So imagine your kids, 
    And your mother too,
    And all of the mamas around. 

    We’re connected with love,
    That moves mountains,
    The magic is truly profound.

    Close your eyes gently,

    And allow yourself to calm down. 

    Surrender to the rhythms, 

    Of your body and its sounds.

    PAUSE…

    Let your shoulders drop, 

    And your mind slowly clear.

    Let your body melt, 

    And everything heavy disappear.

    If you bring yourself inside, 

    And float in the space within. 

    All the good that’s yours,

    Appears outside and in. 

    The conscious breaths you take,

    The food and the water,

    Slow down,

    And bring yourself back home. 

    PAUSE…

    Find the rhythm of your breathing.

    The slow rise of your belly and chest and you breathe in.

    And the contraction of your body as you breathe out.

    PAUSE…

    Be here,

    With your breath.

    Riding its gentle waves in and out of your body.

    Over and over again, 

    Settling into its cycle.

    LONG PAUSE…

     Now take a big, deep breath in,

    Imagining the air clearing out what’s inside.

    Hold it for just a moment.

    And then breathe out,

    Releasing the air, and everything not needed inside. 

    PAUSE…

    Breathe in deep again,

    This time letting the air stretch your spine straight,

    From the bottom of your tailbone,

    All the way up to the crown of your head.

    And then let the air go,

    Exhaling and softening your body into comfort. 

    PAUSE…

    Relax your breathing,

    And let it find a nice, easy rhythm.  

    PAUSE…

    Notice the natural slowing down of your breathing,

    And clearing of your mind,

    As you focus your attention on the air coming in,

    And the air going out. 

    Breathing in,

    Breathing out. 

    PAUSE…

    Let the thoughts pass,

    As you come back to your breath.

    LONG PAUSE…

    Now take another full, deep breath in,

    Gathering up any thoughts, 

    Worries, 

    Or plans,

    And holding your breath for just a moment at the top.

    Hold it.

    And then let it go, 

    Releasing all the air, 

    All the worries, 

    All the thoughts, 

    All the plans,

    Into the space around you,

    Watching them dissolve and disappear. 

    PAUSE…

    Now hold yourself up straight as you breathe in one last big breath,

    Expanding your spine and releasing the tension within,

    Imagining all that air rising to the top of your head,

    And then exhale,

    Releasing your breath,

    Calming your mind,

    And relaxing your body. 

    PAUSE…

    Let yourself settle once again into the steady, easy flow of your breathing.

    And just be here for a bit.

    PAUSE…

    Feeling light.

    Clear.

    Fresh.

    LONG PAUSE…

    If you just look a little closer,

    If you just breathe a little deeper,

    You’ll see it under the surface.

    PAUSE…

    If you just pause a little longer,

    Open your mind a little wider,

    You’ll know there is a purpose. 

    So breathe in deep,

    And dive right in,

    Under the water you’ll see.

    What once was invisible,

    Or looked real small,

    Down here is alive and free. 

    PAUSE…

    Even the sounds,

    That didn’t exist,

    Just seconds ago up above.

    Now move through the waves,

    And tickle your skin.

    And make you feel so loved. 

    PAUSE…

    If you look a little closer,

    If you go a little deeper,

    You’ll see there’s so much life.

    PAUSE…

    If you pause a little longer,

    And observe a little more,

    You’ll be amazed what you see with your eyes. 

    PAUSE…

    The shapes that appear,

    When your eyes adjust,

    The underwater world is revealed.

    You’re taken aback,

    At how emotional you feel,

    Connected, vibrant and healed. 

    PAUSE…

    If you look a little closer,

    If you swim a little deeper,

    This world will embrace your soul.

    If you judge a little less,

    And surrender a little more,

    You’ll see we’re all a part of the whole.

    LONG PAUSE…

    Under the surface you’ll find,

    An entire world you cannot see,

    When you’re focused on what’s different,

    What’s wrong or how you disagree.

    PAUSE…

    So breathe in fully,

    And let yourself sink in,

    Open your eyes to the beauty,

    To the magic dancing within.

    PAUSE…

    Everyone has a story,

    Everything has a rhyme. 

    Surrender to the current,

    Our world is truly sublime. 

    PAUSE…

    If you look a little closer,

    If you breathe a little deeper,

    Close your eyes, 

    And invite yourself to come inside. 

    PAUSE…

    Pull your inhale in as deeply as you can,

    As your belly expands with air.

    And then hold it for just a moment…

    And exhale, 

    Releasing, releasing, releasing. 

    PAUSE…

    Settle into a nice, easy rhythm of breathing.

    And feel your body relax,

    With every breath out. 

    PAUSE…

    Feeling the thoughts, 

    Responsibilities, 

    And plans,

    Escape into the air with every exhale,

    And then dissolve.

    Be here,

    Deep into this moment.

    Aware of the gentle sounds around you.

    Aware of the quiet within you.

    One with you.

    LONG PAUSE…

    See if you can imagine yourself stepping into a cool, gentle stream.

    The water is fresh, 

    And the sun warms your face. 

    PAUSE…

    You bend down and softly scoop up a handful of water,

    And bring it to your arm.

    Feel it cleanse and clear.

    Cleanse and clear.

    PAUSE…

    You bring another handful of water to your belly,

    Letting the welcoming liquid,

    Cleanse and clear,

    Cleanse and clear. 

    PAUSE…

    Now bring more water to both side of your hips,

    And feel it drip down your right leg,

    And your left leg. 

    Let it cleanse and clear,

    Cleanse and clear. 

    PAUSE…

    Reach down into the peaceful stream,

    And fill both of your hands with its refreshing water.

    Bring it up to your chest,

    And pour it over your heart.

    Let it cleanse and clear.

    PAUSE…

    Now bring one last handful of water up above your head.

    Slowly pour it over you,

    Feeling its calming waters stream slowly over your eyes,

    Your cheeks, 

    And your shoulders. 

    Feel it cleanse and clear.

    Cleanse and clear. 

    LONG PAUSE…

    Now allow yourself to sink into the welcoming waters of the stream,

    Submerging your body,

    As you float on the surface.

    Open yourself to the magic of the water,

    Letting it cleanse you,

    And clear you.
