If you’ve tried counting the number of names listed in the genealogy of Jesus Christ as written in Matthew 1, you must have noticed that it is in point of fact incomplete. Judging literally by what was mentioned there. The no. of generation from the carrying away into Babylon (Salathiel) into Christ is absolutely 13 generations. That means in total, we should be having 41 generations. On the other hand, the bible says it is 42 generations (14 generations in 3 places). So the question is where in the world is the last generation or 42 generation?

Let God be true and every man a liar. So far enough, I’ve come to acknowledge that one of the core values of God is that his words are true and pure (this includes the written bible in your Smartphone). Therefore, there’s an explanation to this.

The genealogy of Jesus Christ didn’t begin with Adam, neither was it with Noah. It in fact began with Abraham because “In Abraham was the Promise of the seed which is Jesus Christ sealed”. Previously, God had made it known in the Garden of Eden but it wasn’t sealed until Father Abraham enacted it. This very seal is called faith, the SEAL OF FAITH (Romans 4).

Down the road line, we read the stories of mundane men and women who lived by faith and did remarkable things but none of them was the seed (Hebrew 11). When the fullness of time came, Jesus Christ, who was with the Father before the existence or way of life of anything and had created all things in the present of the Father God, was born into this world just according to the prophecy with reference to him in the Garden of Eden (the seed of the woman).

Since the promise was sealed by Faith in the seed, Jesus. It therefore put in plain words that any progeny coming through Jesus Christ will neither be added up by biological birth method nor physical adoption method as it used to be or should be. Instead, the next generation from Jesus will be counted through the possession of that same seal of faith (activated by Abraham) as evident that they came through the promise seed, Jesus. Thus, whenever God sees this very seal of faith, he is convinced that beyond doubt, this person is the offspring of Jesus. With this, the promise package is discharged to such person.

Because the seal of faith is not a physical seal but the thing of the heart (spiritual), the floor is open to all mankind. For as many that has this seal of faith, no matter the color of skin, race, tongue or tribe, nation or family religion. You automatically become the last generation of Jesus Christ as documented in the bible.

This seal of Faith is believing that God so much love all mankind that he sent his only begotten Son called Jesus the anointed one, into our world as a human being (born by a virgin) to die and redeem everyone from sin and eternal death. Whoever believes in him and receives him will not die but shall have eternal life and shall reign with Jesus Christ on this earth when he shall return.
