What do people hear?
Sounds like a simple question but it is not.
People's heads, their consciousness, is filled with the echoes of their troubles, as well as their victories, and their preconceived notions of the world around them.

It is a big fog.

When people come to be influenced, which is exactly what they are doing when they
sit down to watch the news, attend political rallies, interact on social media and with others who share similar views, people are only able to make a little bit of space through that fog.

Where they are then able to retain snippets of information, these snippets of information will usually connect with other snippets that they had previously internalized.

This is partially part of what is known as confirmation bias, suffice it to say that people will bring with them beliefs of what they think is true, it doesn't matter whether it is true or not because when they have determined in their mind that something is true, that belief becomes internalized, it gets crystalized.

When we internalize a belief we cling to it, like it it's a part of us, like a physical appendage. Part of what increases the intensity of that claim of ownership is pride, ego, we wrap our beliefs in our pride and our ego so tightly that we become terrified of letting them go.

We feel as if we were to let these beliefs go that we would not only have to contend with the fact that we harbored false ideas, inaccuracies as being true, but we feel as though we must now contend with the humiliation of having been deceived, or not being smart enough to recognize the falsehood to begin with.

This means that after having been deceived for long periods of time it becomes ever increasingly more difficult to let go of our false beliefs, because our pride, our ego, which then eventually translates into our very sense of self and identity, is threatened.

To make matters worse there are countless others who will exploit this vulnerability and use it to further humiliate those who may have been harboring false ideas; and so the vicious feedback loop continues.

People get cornered with false beliefs and are not permitted to walk away with their heads still held high and the divisiveness continues.

I have a theory about driving most drivers of course are average drivers by definition and there are many poor drivers as well. But interspersed with the average and the poor drivers are some excellent drivers drivers, these excellent drivers are able to anticipate the flow of traffic and the behaviors of others, and by doing so are able to act in a way that helps not to only protect their own safety, but creates an area of safety for other drivers, an area of safety that compounds outward to the average and poor drivers, helping to protect them.

This idea translates into how we work with one another as human beings, most of us are of average social intelligence, many are of poor social intelligence, however there are a small number of people who understand the flow of social currency and are able to make way for those with average and poor social intelligence, and create areas of safety so that they can
continue to grow.

It's important to understand how people hear what they hear because it may not reflect what we think it does, and maybe it will help for us to create open spaces for those who discover their false ideas to then be free to move into places where they can grow and relinquish these false notions and be welcomed by their community.

The American people, the ones who are still thinking for themselves, need to take something into very, very serious consideration. The fact of the matter is there are now millions of Americans
who are part of a cult, it is a cult by every definition. It is the cult of Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has positioned himself as the cult leader, he is the central figure, he has positioned himself as the idol of adoration. Donald Trump has moved from what is to be the central focus of the office of the President of the United States, from what is in service to the United States and to the American people, to what is in service of Donald Trump, and by doing so has convinced his cult that what serves him serves them.

Of course that is a complete falsehood.

In a cult, a leader positions himself as the central figure, he is the one who asserts omniscience & omnipotence, his knowledge, his opinions and everything about him are never to be criticized he is to be considered unassailable, infallible.

In addition to his self asserted perfection, the cult leader also needs to have a position that only
he can fulfill, no other can take his place.

And that is exactly where Donald Trump has positioned himself.

Members of a cult certainly never go out of their way by saying to themselves upon waking one
day “Oh today seems like a good day to join a cult, I'll go join a cult today. I will surrender my sense of autonomy, give over my entire self, all of my decision-making processes, my critical thinking and my identity to a to person who will assume power over every aspect of my life. Who I cannot criticize.”

Nobody does that, that's not how cults develop and grow. Not at all.
Cults grow through seduction. You are lured in. You are made to feel understood, heard, appreciated and special.

And then comforted by your cult leader, saying they know the way, that they are the only one who has the answer, you need to follow them without question, and that all those who challenge their cult leader are not only seeking to undermine the cult leader’s power, but in doing so are seeking to destroy his followers lives

This then identifies who the enemies of the cult are, the enemies of the cult, the enemies.

So far, Trump has identified the American Free Press, as the enemy of the people, this is an astounding lie, an astounding lie.

He has also identified immigrants, and the desperate as enemies. In doing so what he has done is he has taken the next step between cult leader and cult follower, what that step is, is the cult leader and the followers identities merge. It is not that the cult leaders identity has merged into his followers identity, but the reverse, his followers have merged their identities with the cult leader, they no longer can recognize themselves without identifying with their their cult leader and in this case that is Donald Trump.

This is gravely seriousness because we all know where the worst of cults have led to, they have led to mass suicides and mass murder, they lead to the sacrifice of one’s very self, of one’s family, they have led to war.

Cults lead to a total evisceration of the personal and the independent.

The collective serves the cult leader, the cult leader who can never be replaced, which is fundamentally in opposition to the American system of government, because the American president is to serve the American People and is to be replaced every four to eight years.

Let's take a minute to think about what laws are.
At their most basic, laws are a collection of rules that are aimed to direct and control the behavior of the people who live and visit the countries in which those laws are active. Laws are written, created and enforced by people. Laws reflect the beliefs and interests of the people who create and write them.

Laws are then enforced by other people- police and various other law enforcement agencies.

We all know this but laws, just like the people that create them are certainly not perfect, and the enforcement of those laws by people, who are fundamentally flawed, like all people, is flawed.

So what happens is what is currently happening, and what will continue to happen, is that every country will have a collection of flawed laws enforced by flawed enforcement agencies.

Then what happens is these laws stay on the books for decades, centuries even, and
they become so ingrained in a country's culture that the people who were born into the cultures governed by these particular sets of laws, see them as a natural occurrences, as if these laws are the equivalent of something like natural phenomena like the rain, snow and the weather.

Of course laws are not natural phenomena they are created by people and enforced by people,
fundamentally flawed people.

Nevertheless, people will then base their entire sense of morality, sense of self, on these laws, these quite, imperfect laws.

You think that there are no imperfect laws or that laws can't be wildly imperfect? And that these wildly imperfect laws won’t be enforced?

Well think of segregation, unless you're a complete fucking racist piece of shit, the laws
that segregated african-americans from Caucasian Americans in mass transit, education, public facilities were not only wildly imperfect but incredibly immoral. As a matter of fact those laws and the enforcement of those laws were the true crimes.

The laws that restrained women from being able to vote, once again these laws were wildly unethical, immoral and incredibly imperfect.

There are still many many laws on the books that are wildly imperfect and unethical but it takes free minds to be able to identify and understand these laws for what they are. These laws are disgusting encroachments upon the truly natural right of people to be free.

Being morally bankrupt unethical and cruel are not traits that one should aspire to! It represents the loss of one's personal humanity. Supporting those who lack such a moral compass and who possess no ethical direction is an astounding submission to one's leader.
