Award-winning theatre maker Suli Holum talks about her multifaceted career encompassing acting, directing, choreography and devising new works Off-Broadway, and regionally in DC and Philadelphia.

Broadway actor and writer Ryan Duncan shares his experiences performing in Shrek and Getting’ the Band Back Together with Marilu Henner, as well as his experience writing for and developing new musicals for the stage. He also talks about his non-profit work with Only Make Believe and Mursion, fostering social skills, diversity, equity and inclusion and empathy through online virtual reality.

Tony nominated Director Marcia Milgrom Dodge shares her experiences working on the revival of Ragtime on Broadway, various shows Off-Broadway and at many regional theatres across the country. As one of the few prominent female director/choreographers in the country, Dodge has been consistently working to re-invent the American Musical, and make it more accessible to all, including with her latest venture, a new revival of Beauty and the Beast that the Washington Post says “exudes complexity and realness, without sacrificing comic pizazz.”

Award winning producer Rashad V. Chambers discusses the challenges of producing for the theatre including for the Broadway shows American Son, Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations, Betrayal, The Inheritance and Caroline, or Change, his work Off-Broadway and regionally, as well as the influence his college education at Morehouse College has had on the types of properties he chooses to produce.

Broadway actor and singer Kate Reinders joins me live from the Virginia Theatre Association conference where we chat about her experience in multiple Broadway shows, including Something Rotten!, Beautiful and Wicked, as well as her much loved portrayal of Miss Jenn in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series now streaming on Disney+
