Should the child have the mother's last name or the father's last name? Is it a crime for either or? I don't think so. PPD is definitely real and should be dealt with professionally.

Being a mom is hard. Being a parent is hard in general, so if a mom wants to take a break; LET HER! There is nothing wrong with that and we should normalize that instead of bashing the moms who do so.
