Heather Sincavage and Karley Stasko are two creatives hyped up on coffee who are thrilled to bring the exciting world of fine art right to you! Gallery Guide: A Sordoni Artcast aims to create a dialogue about topics and themes within the art world, to approach artwork, artists, and art movements from unpredictable perspectives creating new appreciation and understanding, and to provide a more in-depth look to Sordoni Art Gallery exhibitions in a way that is conversational and casual.
The Sordoni Art Gallery or SAG is the visual art exhibition space of Wilkes University, located in Northeastern Pennsylvania. We provide our campus and community a creative learning experience by providing rich programming, workshops, lectures, and year-round exhibitions featuring diverse, internationally recognized artists.

Behind the Scenes at SAG
Get to know our archives intern Sophia Krupsha about all her cool finds working in the gallery archives. Sophia is graduating from Penn State University School of Art focusing in drawing and painting. She is a Kingston, PA native where she continues to research and paint until she begins her graduate studies. She writes: Having been born in an area mined hollow by coal companies, I was raised to appreciate and develop an understanding of local history as it pertains to my family's traditions and values. Because of this, my curiosity lies in the artificiality of the industrial landscape left behind by coal manufacturing and the loss of the cultural identity of a once-proud people.
