Pragya Saboo is a Product Manager at Oscar Health (a New York-based healthcare company). In 2017, she founded a non-profit- PROJECT XXI. This project dismisses the unbalanced emphasis on stellar academic grades in high schools and colleges and focuses on the overall holistic development of students.

She is the President of the NY Chapter of Georgia Tech’s Women Alumni Network, and a Rising Leader Board Member of Impact NY. Besides, she also serves as the Indian Delegate to the United Nations ECOSOC Youth Forum. She graduated from Georgia Tech in 2017 with a B.S in Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Welcome to the Podcast Episode-16 of Ignited Spirits Presents Leadership Series.

‘Dreams are something which does not come in your sleep, but something which always makes you think once again’ is the mantra of our today’s guest who is a young aerospace researcher, drone scientist, and social entrepreneur. Fly and flying entities have been a great fascination for him since childhood. Starting the aerospace journey from a small paper plane, he has been working on UAVs(Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and drones for more than 10 years now. Mechanics behind natural science such as flying of a bird are some intriguing questions that keep him curious. Curiosity is his emotion and solving problems through innovations is his passion.

He has successfully registered his name in Limca’s book of records for the lightest plane costing as low as INR 2. He has received 14 National and 7 International Awards including Space Kids India young scientist award, NASA’s young scientist award, and President’s Award for developing inverted rotors in 2015. His practical approach to deep research problems has played a major role in India’s health, defense, and economic development. He has designed Humming Bird, a vertical take-off landing drone for organ transportation with the great Indian cardiac surgeon Padma Shree Awardee Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty.

He has founded Rospace Aerotech which develops custom UAVs for payloads ranging from 1kg to 1000kg for any application with high endurance high range capability.

Dr. Falguni Vasavada is a professor at MICA, one of the country's most prestigious institutions. She is a double gold medalist, TEDx speaker, and a notable social media influencer in addition to being a professor. She's written for publications, delivered papers, and provided a peek of her work in other countries. With her area of expertise being Advertising and Marketing, she is the coolest professor according to a lot of her students.  She is about 47 years of age and is a fine example of someone who lives life the way he/she wants to live it, never being affected by the online trolls Dr. Vasavada prefers to ignore the negativity in life and keep moving on your path with utter positivity and self-belief.

Cited in the ‘1000 World Leaders for Hope’ list, Forbes Magazine’s Changemakers 30under30 list, and currently the UNESCO Ambassador for SDG Inclusive Learning 2017-18, Swapnil is one of the youngest specially-abled social reformers in India. His life’s work has been dedicated to spreading hope in troubled communities through education, social inventions, hope, and love. His work has helped beget Joy across many underdeveloped and developing economies of the World.



A dyslexic and synaesthetic by birth, his work explores the synergy and congruence of human senses and the ability to explore alternative intelligence among people. As a statute, he uses social business and innovation to address rampant social evils. By the age of 25, he rehabilitated 24 endangered tribes in the violence-stricken jungles of India, during which he was abducted thrice, all ending in the reformation of those communities. His extensive reformation work has spanned tribal women folk, sexual abuse victims, and victims of discrimination, transforming their lives through Innovative Entrepreneurship – examples include Kargil Widows of Haryana, Co-ops in the jungles of India, among other 58 regions of the nation.



Swapnil is one of the youngest changemakers to be featured by Forbes Magazine, The Better India, National Peace Award, Himalaya Foundation Award, ISB Hyderabad & Mohali and is a case study at UNESCO-MGIEP, Newcastle University, The I Share Hope initiative, University of Tampa, Florida and under research cases at HBR & Rutgers University. He is a mentor to 537 social entrepreneurs and a constant guide to the Youth across the globe. His story is inspiring two documentaries and a biographical feature film. An avid TED speaker, his talks are a special mission to instill inspiration through the philosophy of Madness for all who seek Hope. His work has also been nominated for the Padmashri honor this year.
