    Andalusia is a large autonomous region of hills, rivers and farmland bordering Spain’s southern coast. With regards to this story, it is where the wood for corks come from.

    Join me as I read The Masque of the Red Death, by Edgar Allan Poe. In this story, Prince Prospero barricades himself in his castle and holds sumptuous parties while the countryside is ravaged by a plague called The Red Death.

    After that is Rain, an original story: during a week long rainstorm, a young boy looks for his friend who has disappeared.

    Hernani refers to the town of the same name in Navarra, Spain. It is famous for its colourful festivals, which include costumed dancers.

    Mummer is a word used to refer to someone who dons a mask.

    Improvisatori refers to Italian improvisational poets, from around the 14th century to the mid 19th.
