Chatting With Polly Cannella, Co-Founder of Lokii

Welcome to the first interview episode of the Real Shop Talk podcast! I am so freaking thrilled to be chatting with Polly Cannella, co-founder of Lokii today. Lokii is a new shopping app that makes it easier for shoppers to find quality products from independent retailers in their local community.

The moment I discovered them, I knew I needed to know more! I reached out—fingers crossed—to see if I would be able to snag a call with Polly. To my delight, she promptly responded. And let me just tell you this woman is just as fabulous as her biz. We decided to jump on a call to meet and learn more about each other’s businesses. An hour and half later, we were fast friends. Polly’s heart and passion for the Lokii mission is so evident and the excitement just pours out of her.

In this episode Polly tells all: what the app is all about, how it works, why your shop needs to jump on it asap, and the mission behind how and why it launched.

Creating a Policies and Procedures Guide (a.k.a. P&P Guide) for your shop is one of the easiest ways to remedy common issues in your business and set your shop up for success. What exactly is a P&P Guide? It is simply a way to document how you do things and what steps to take when completing certain tasks. It's a collection of the basic policies and procedures for your shop that can be used as a training guide and quick reference for team members.
