    In this episode, we meet Jolie Gutentag Marketing Consultant & Executive Trainer with Building Bridges and Adjunct Faculty at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School where she teaches Marketing and Marketing Informatics for MBA and Masters of Global Business programs. She is currently a Doctoral student at her university, investigating how the concept of Circularity vs Sustainabilily only could help consummers who express an interest for the environment change their behaviours to a more sustainable way of life.

    She is interviewed by Sedona Redlbacher, student in Segovia, studying BBA (2023). Prior to her start at IE, Sedona lived and volunteered in the Andes of Peru, where she worked with disabled people, orphans and in public relations for the NGO Corazones para Perú. Before that she attended the Frankfurt International School. There she was involved in many extracurricular activities including finding and leading a United Nation’s Girl-Up chapter which supports the health, safety and education of adolescent girls in developing countries. Sedona has always been involved in many sport clubs including field hockey and volleyball and has always enjoyed fitness classes and learning about physical and mental health. That's why in 2019, she joined the Student Advisory Board for the Center for Health, Well-being & Happiness at IE.

    Episode #6: Learning Adaptability for a post Covid-19 world with Ibrahim Al-Marashi

    In this episode, we meet Ibrahim Al-Marashi, who is visiting Professor at the School of Global and Public Affairs of IE University. He is an associate professor at California State University San Marcos. He is a co-author of Iraq’s Armed Forces: An Analytical History (Routledge, 2008), The Modern History of Iraq (Routledge, 2017), and A Concise History of the Middle East (Routledge, 2018). He is best known as the author of an article which was plagiarised by the British government in a 2003 briefing document entitled Iraq: Its Infrastructure of Concealment, Deception and Intimidation (see Dodgy Dossier).  

    He is interviewed by Aldara Vazquez, a first year IE University student. Her deep interest in languages and International affairs has encouraged her to study International Relations. The way she was raised also sparked in her a particular curiosity for the human essence. Thus, in this episode she wanted to blend these two fields in an attempt to address the latest events related to COVID-19 and how these have affected both our personal and professional lives. We are currently living a challenging situation never experienced before and it is key that we learn how to evolve in the dynamocs of this new world. In 2019, she joined the Student Advisory Board for IE's Center for Health, Well-being & Happiness.

    Episode #4: Unifying People Through the Frequency of Love with Pavel Stulik

    In this episode, we will meet Pavel Stulik. Having suffered a life-threatening bout of the Epstein Barr, Stuchlik was forced to quit his previous career as a professional cyclist. Experimenting with entrepreneur-like ventures, and amassing a venture of $1 million at the age of 21, Stuchlik combined his traits of charm, grit, and resilience into becoming the owner of OrangeTheory Fitness (a wellness franchise boasting more than 1,000 locations worldwide). He found his passion in Music Therapy becoming a world wide DJ at the top clubs in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, and even performing at Burning Man. As an electronic dance music DJ and producer, Pavel Stuchlik goes by the alias, NOA | AON. He also set out for some soul searching and became a Wim Hof Method Instructor, and combines the breathing techniques and cold immersion with transformative music to allow people to break through their greatest fears doubts, and anxiety.

    He is interviewed by Emilio Ortiz. Emilio has just finished his 3rd year at IE University, pursuing a degree in business. Along the way in his college experience, he nurtured his unique child-like curiosity that has driven him to explore topics ranging from neuroscience, spirituality, fitness, psychology, etc. He aims to express his discoveries with fellow seekers that are on a path of personal growth and who want to upgrade any aspect of their life.     In this episode we learn about honouring ourselves as Homo Sapiens with Ayda Velasco,  therapist, and founder of Guayacan Holistic Coworking in Columbia, a space that promotes coworking among specialized professional therapists and people seeking wellness, harmony and connection with all facets of the human being. Ayda has dedicated her whole life to working on herself, leaning into diverse therapeutic practices and becoming connected to what happens behind every human being. Ten years ago, she decided to start sharing her knowledge with others and since, has helped over 4,000 people by providing them with tools to live a better life. Ayda sees every person as an individual world, so beautiful and deep, and she is marveled by the different people that enter her office. Ayda understands that behind each human being there is a deep call and something which we all want to live...and that is happiness. She dedicates her time as a therapist guiding people to fully embody their emotions and transforming themselves daily in order to find that inner state of happiness we all have within.

    She is interviewed by Daniela Chvatal, born and raised in Colombia, currently studying Communication and Digital Media at IE University (2023).  Daniela is passionate about making emotional connections with others and is always curious about what goes behind every human being. She believes that every person has a powerful story that is meant to be heard, as such she is eager to dive deep into conversations with all sorts of people to explore their message to the world. Daniela is a spiritual seeker, she is passionate about subjects that require her to learn and continue the quest for the greater wisdom that is already inside each and every one of us. As a student of life, she possesses a drive to improve herself daily, to grow, to question the world around her and to realise that everything in this universe has a meaning and is connected to each other.
