I pray you know that the love of your generous Father withstands every culture clash, every financial woe, and every heartbreak you might be experiencing.

If my tiny evangelical self decided to try and invite a friend to church or talk to them about Jesus but was rejected, my Momma would say “you’ve planted the seed and that’s what matters.” I argue that I might have skipped a step. I didn’t dig the hole first. I didn’t make room for that seed to sink in.
