It's been a bit of a while here on the Library of Sound Volume 319 and Your Humble Host just had to present a Bing Crosby Show with his guest Peggy Lee. From October 12, 1949 listen to this all musical episode of Bing's radio show. Enjoy.

Your Humble Host invites the Whisperer back to the Library of Sound (LOS) Volume 318. Today the Whisperer looks into an "Attempted Murder" and it ain't pretty. From July 15, 1951 let's get ready for The Whisperer.

Sounds Like Radio Volume 171 is here as the Great Gildersleeve fears Leroy's ambition to be a singing cowboy. Now if only he had a little singing talent, it might not be so bad. Your Humble Host knows a good cowboy and cowgirl western singer when he hears it, and Leroy ain't it.

Well, to help Leroy know what a good western song sounds like Your Humble Host has invited Merle Haggard, Patsy Montana, Roy Rogers, Emmylou Harris (that's her album cover with today's song in our picture with this show), Bing Crosby, Patsy Montana and Gene Autry. Not bad eh?

Jean Shepherd is back on the Library of Sound Volume 317. And Jean has questions, What's it all for Andy Capp?, To Be Retired?, Why Work? and the Light Brigade. Now that's a lot on your mind. Here's another show Your Humble Host recorded himself on March 21, 1975 and according to my research it was originally broadcast on January 21, 1975. This is a tape you'll only find here as it's from my personal collection recorded off FM so enjoy the excellent sound.
