Tahmina Begum is a writer, editor and creative consultant. Working as a journalist for the past nine years, her work has focused on centering the lives of Muslim women and women of colour across a multitude of topics such as politics, tech, lifestyle, fashion, cultural commentary and more. She has contributed to publications such as HuffPost, I-D, Dazed, AnOther, Glamour, Refinery29, and gal-dem. Begum is also the creator of The Aram newsletter (recommended by Sunday Times Style) that focuses on centering women of colour and Muslim and our relationship with joy and ease.

Morgan Hilaire is an Actress & Model. Growing up in East London and being from an area of so many inspiring individuals, she has always felt a great sense of connection to the more creative side of herself. She has been in the modelling industry for over 7 years and she is now now stepping into the acting world. She has been involved in short films including as ‘Wheels’ - directed by Remi Moses an amazing upcoming director.

Gianna Collier is a Philadelphia-born, Northeast-bred actor, photographer, and film creative currently based in New York. She received her B.A. in Cinema Studies from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts before training in Meisner Technique at Terry Knickerbocker Studio under the tutelage of Terry Knickerbocker.
Gianna’s expression through art runs the gamut from digital and film photography to fashion styling and poetry. Through her acting work, she finds that she is her most authentic self and enjoys the vulnerability and empathy that the art form requires — something she believes society greatly undervalues. She has appeared in several commercial projects for major brands and short films, and has also been featured by GLAAD and Seventeen Magazine for her LGBTQ+ advocacy work.

Stephanie Cheng is a photographer and filmmaker based in New York and Beijing. Her early immersions in different cultural narratives inform her ongoing practice in photography and filmmaking. Stephanie's work examines cross-cultural dimensions within feminism and race, as she continues to explore the evolving representation of female sexuality and power across many genres. Her visual narratives not only seek to reproduce reflections of the world we live in, but also imagine an entirely different one. Stephanie received her B.F.A. in Film and Television from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and completed her Master’s in Visual, Museum, and Material Anthropology at the University of Oxford.
Together, Steph and I try to process the devastating events of the last few weeks. We talk about the challenges of navigating the world as Asian women, of being robbed of our agency by the white patriarchy, and of being hyper sexualized and fetishized. We also discuss Steph’s works and how they strive to centre bipoc women, challenging harmful stereotypes, through nuanced storytelling.

Amalina Anuar is a fashion writer and stylist who views her surroundings as inspiration. She loves dissecting the latest trends, styles and highlighting the goodness of the local fashion/art scene. Other than dressing people to look and feel good, music and entertainment are tucked under her list of favourites too.
