In this podcast episode for Dying Matters Week 2024, hosts Gina and Tamsin are joined by Cornwall Hospice Care Senior Nurse Claire Collings and Social Prescriber covering the North Coast of Cornwall, Sarah Webber.  We also hear from Zoe Watson, who talks about her experiences of her Mum's stay with us and how it allowed her the time to have those difficult conversations.

They chat about the importance of talking about death and dying, before, during and after someone dies and how those conversations, often perceived as very difficult ones, actually can help everyone to make sure that the decisions that are made when someone is dying do reflect their wishes and what they want.

Meet the amazing Daddow family from Portreath - Ben, Leanda, Liam (11) and Sophia (9) - who took on a Land's End to John O'Groats cycle earlier this year (2023) over 75 days, meeting lots of incredibly generous people along the way and making lots of memories - both big and small.
