Realised what Proustian means and laughed a lot

Stumbled on this pod by circuitous happenstance. On the Taskmaster podcast, Ed’s frequent mentions of Munya’s oddness on Off Menu led me to see for myself and then check out other episodes. It’s an alchemical stew, more substantial than the combination of its ingredients. At first I laughed a lot. I never stopped laughing but eventually I also began to experience sensuous memories of food, mostly joyful. I came to understand what Proustian means, without ever having read a word of Proust. You can ignore this twaddle though, and also the idea of foodies and whatever prejudice that inspires, because this podcast is mainly about remembering joy.
