Highly entertaining but also very informative
Thanks Alice and Matt for creating this series that I have become dangerously hooked on….
Like one of you said, often we know the ‘headlines’ of these stories but little else. The way you have made the episodes is genius- great banter, comments that relate to today too, just the right amount of soundscape, and obviously super well researched information.
Whether the story is one of royal ‘doings’ or something as lowly as a person faking their own death and the resulting chaos, they are all fascinating and memorable.
In fact, I reckon kids would actually remember history lessons if they could be taught like this - where appropriate….

An enjoyable listen
The presenters have achieved the perfect banter to story telling ratio, keeping the podcast engaging from start to finish. Sound effects and background music are never intrusive and set the atmosphere - an excellent production all round!
