i love live shows. recently, i attended one alone where i was able to people watch and really observe what was going on around me. this got me thinking a lot about the way people behave at concerts, and the overall attitudes about it. in this episode, we touch on concert etiquette (or lack thereof), and some of the shifts i’ve noticed in this atmosphere over the last few years.

in the second episode of this week’s two-parter, we backtrack to our original topic: friendship dynamics. throughout our lives, hannah & i have seen + heard + experienced some things worth discussing regarding friendship with both girls and boys.

hannah is back. we originally sat down to discuss male vs female friendships to piggy back off of our friendship theme from the previous joint episode (history of the meep). however, we got severely side tracked & ended up talking about a variety of topics, primarily about our distaste for men. we shared lessons from our own personal experiences, observations, and overall thoughts + feelings about different situations.

in this episode, we start a little series where i talk about certain aspects about social media. things i like, dislike, or just some general thoughts regarding how the internet has influenced xyz. today i touch on social media and its role in transforming the way trends progress. trends aren’t necessarily a bad thing at all. however, by observing how people are molding new trends nowadays, it just feels weird. i’ve had my own fair share of fashion mistakes, and i share a bit of my experience as a consumer for essentially my entire life since i’ve been on social media. it’s just been interesting to see how trends have evolved, and i’m not sure if it’s been going well as of late.

in this second episode of this week’s two-parter, april and i go over modern day dating. we touch on dating apps, situationships, communication, relationships, and the things we’ve learned throughout our experiences over the years. relationships can be hard to navigate sometimes but everything is a learning process. it’s important to be able to reflect and be content with how things play out sometimes because everything is an opportunity for you to be able to grow and get to know yourself better!! girl talk at its finest.
