Utah prosecutors will present evidence to the judge to determine whether there is enough to move the case forward to trial. Two witnesses were called on to testify and describe what they experienced on the day of the assassination. President Donald Trump issues a fierce rebuke to communism as he celebrates the official launch of Trump accounts. Trump called these accounts the ultimate weapon against the ideology he says threatens American freedom. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent opened the ceremony and encouraged parents to take advantage of the newly launched investment opportunity to help their children. "The American dream belongs to every child, and today we are equipping the next generation with the right to claim their rightful share of it," Bessent said. FIFA rejects Belgium's appeal of the organization's decision to allow U.S. striker Folarin Balogun to play in Monday's World Cup match against Belgium despite receiving a red card in the American team's previous game. Trump said on Monday that he called FIFA's president Gianni Infantino about the red card and asked for a review.

    Hiring momentum slowed in June as the economy added fewer jobs than expected, but the stable growth shows the resilience of the labor market, officials said. The White House told NTD that the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, signed into law by President Donald Trump, has been delivering for Americans as the nation celebrates July 4th. Kevin Hassett, Director of the National Economic Council, said the bill has achieved everything that the administration was aiming for and that people were able to “make more money, and keep money that we saw in the tax return data, that the typical benefit across all three was maybe $6,000 to $7,000 per person.” Jeanine Pirro, U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, announced that former Olympian David Hearn was indicted on a felony charge over allegedly vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool last month. Hearn is accused of inflicting more than $1,000 worth of damage during a June 19 incident where he was arrested. However, Hearn claims he “didn’t destroy or break or peel anything.” As America comes close to celebrating it's 250th birthday, NTD breaks down the top events leading up to the holiday including a huge celebration at Mount Rushmore featuring military honors, family-friendly activities, fireworks, and a speech by Trump.

    President Donald Trump kicked off July Fourth celebrations on Wednesday, cutting the red ribbon to officially open the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. Trump delivered remarks during the dedication ceremony, paying tribute to Roosevelt and describing him as “a man who embodied the heart and soul and fight and spirit of our country.” Trump told audience members that Roosevelt was “a staunch and ferocious opponent of a thing called communism,” and drew attention to an increase in support for communism in America today, following the successful primaries in New York and Colorado of Democratic Socialists. He called it “the greatest threat to our country.” The Department of Justice announces new federal charges against eight illegal immigrants who are allegedly members of Tren de Aragua—a Venezuelan gang designated as a foreign terrorist organization—in its ongoing efforts to fight against transnational crime. The charges were filed for two separate crimes of kidnapping and murder. Two masked individuals are in custody after climbing to the top of New York City’s Empire State building’s spire. The duo flew a banner from the top that read, “When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace.”

Justices lifted limits on campaign spending in federal elections and upheld West Virginia and Idaho laws banning boys in girls' sports. However, the Supreme Court struck down Trump's executive order excluding children of illegal immigrants and temporary visa holders from automatic citizenship at birth. Trump said the ruling is a loss for America and called on Congress to change the law to end birthright citizenship. "The Supreme Court upheld Birthright Citizenship, which is too bad for our country, but we can easily make it up in Congress through Legislation, with the support of the President, that has now been determined during this process," Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Tuesday. A new report finds a growing campaign to silence critics of the Chinese Communist Party is expanding inside the United States. The findings include threats, assaults, and pressure campaigns targeting Americans across more than 30 states.
