How people react psychologically to market conditions results in totally different performances. For example, when the stock price goes up, do you feel like buying or selling? And when it goes down? How do you behave when you are making money? And how about losing money? Our limbic brain often makes the decision and bypasses the rational neocortex in the brain. But is there a winning personality that the most successful investors around the world have in common? And is there a way to acquire such personality? These questions will be answered in this and the next video in a series of two videos.

For those of us who have been in the market long enough, know too well the risks of buying the dips. Some people even believe in mean-reversion of stock prices, which is a myth. The best way to navigate the markets is by risk management. After all, stock investing is a risky business. You make a return if you run a risk. But you got to take educated risks and get them under your control if you want to survive and thrive in the market for long run.
