Wow - Just WOW!

I wasn’t even alive when this happened but I’ve seen the footage and I know the famous line by Armstrong. However this podcast made me feel as if I was there and experiencing it for the first time with all the wonder and excitement I’m sure millions had when they watched it in real time too.
What an amazing podcast with interviews from those that were there and put the men on the moon and those that walked on its ground themselves. I happen to be listening to the podcast while out in Washington DC and so a visit to the Air and Space museum was made even more special seeing all the artefacts and items used at the time.

I can’t wait to listen to Season 2 as my only knowledge of Apollo 13 is from the Ron Howard’s film with the same name when I was in my early 20’s. That was a breathtaking and emotional film for me and I believe the podcast will only go further in heightening those emotions and feelings again.

Thank you to the BBC, Kevin Fong and the production team for bringing this podcast to my ears and soul. More please!

A Wonderful catch up for me

I was in Lesotho on VSO in 1969, and missed the whole event. All I saw on my return were a few newspaper cuttings. I’ve seen footage over the years, this programme has been revelatory. Now in my 70s you have given me the excitement I missed out on when I was 18. Thank you for a stunning and gripping programme. Well done.

Inspired storytelling

Gripping narrative. Kevin Fong expertly engages the listener with the story of human flight to the moon. I remember the Apollo program, but this series will tell the incredible story for younger listeners. Great music by Hans Zimmer as well. I watched most of the Apollo launches and this brought a lump to my throat.
