🚪 Keep knocking on that door.
🌍 Somebi moved to Canada from Nigeria as a child. She had ambitions to build a great career for herself but didn't have any industry connections or an understanding of how the system works.
🤔 So what did she decide to do?
📮 She started walking around handing out her CV door to door no matter the weather to try to get her first unpaid internship.
👩🏿💻 One of those doors eventually opened. Which led to an opportunity. And then another one after that.
Now, Somebi has networked her way to 7 graduate job offers (no, that's not a typo) with some of the best companies in the world including Mckinsey, Microsoft, Deloitte, IBM, Google and Amazon. She also recently did a TEDx Talk and launched her first book!
