Today's conversation is with film maker Duncan Cowles, who many of you will know from the BBC's Scary Adult Things.
Duncan shares his background and how he become involved in creating films and making documentaries.
This leads us to his newest release and first TV series, Scary Adult Things which is a documentary exploring millennial problems.
We explore the why behind the series, and motivation for each episode themes including living at home with parents, side hustles, drinking, gaming, feeling connected, and fitness.
Naturally, we focus on the fitness episode 'Health is wealth' and explore what Duncan learnt, his own fitness, and his expectations of what I would be like to interview.
Lastly, Duncan explains his documentary style, the elements of planning, and any pre set narrative he has. As part of this, we learn about the considerations needed to navigate filming and producing during the Covid pandemic.
