66. Andy Stroke of Luck - From a Stroke Survivor to Ultramarathon Runner Fitness Soul Podcast

    • Sport

In Feb 2017 Andy had a significant stroke. It was a cryptogenic one, with no particular reason behind it.
You can say he was just unlucky.
As you can imagine, it was a very traumatic and painful experience. He had to learn how to walk, and for a long time, Andy has lost the ability to do what he loves the most, ride his bike. But he didn't give up.
He has managed to channel all his energy on the recovery process.
And he did it!
Now he describes the stroke as the best thing could ever happen to him: he is wiser, more robust, tougher, more compassionate and mentally fitter human than ever!
This is his incredible story.
