Excellent

Good job RTÉ, the sound quality and editing problems on other morning shows are non existent with this podcast and the on the day upload is excellent.

Great for the expat

I live in the UK and Irish radio is only available via satellite. So this podcast is a nice way to keep in touch with an Irish viewpoint. The program is edited and thankfully we don't have to listen to the ads. But we do have to listen to the weather and traffic. Not very relevant if you're in another country and certainly not relevant to the people in Ireland who only get this program the next day. Some more editing is needed or the program shoudl be made available almost immediately after radio broadcast?
That all said, thanks RTE, any more????

Too late!

The entire point about a news programme is that it should be immediate. When these podcasts are never released on the same day and are usually, at least, four to five days behind then they become less than useful.

Update on the day - or just withdraw the podcast. To do neither implies a lack of care or professionalism
