Customer Reviews
Excellent
I enjoy the way both Alistair & Rory manage to take the discussion seriously without taking themselves too seriously. Really enjoyed the interview with Lineker.
Had to switch off Gary
First time felt time off kilter,no analysis..couldn’t get the point of this discussion. Why was it on the Leadership podcast?
Disagree agreeably
My new motto.
As a person who was a teenager in the 80’s I religiously watched the news and QT- Sir Robin. The quality of debate was brilliant, always passionate but nearly always polite; I liked personalities from both sides of the argument regardless of their beliefs as they had CONVICTION. I was very political. I could have named every member of the Cabinet on each side- always talking politics with friends who also wanted to talk politics. I even went on a a couple of marches….. ‘Hesseltine is a swine chuck him in the serpentine’; I was a closet Tory….. just, but enjoyed myself enormously… say what you like about Arthur Scargill but he was a mesmerising orator.
To say that I felt completely disenfranchised over the last 20 years especially is an understatement. Brexit just finished me off; can’t look my kids in the eye about it. I’m a United States of Europe kind of person though.
Despite the Sepentine, Lord Hesseltine was one of my political heroes…. Bringing Maggie down… talk about excitement and drama!!
Anyway, I’ve always loved Mr Campbell…. Malcom Tucker even more. But Rory is a superstar! I love this podcast…. It’s reawakened the political inner me…. So thank you.
Disagree agreeably. Love it.
