Not just another metal podcast - it’s better
Hosted by Howard H Smith of Acid Reign fame, H brings the relentless energy you’ll be used to from a live show to the podcast form.
He’ll talk the events in metal, with his own uniquely tangential no holds barred style - sometimes supported by parakeets and with his observational humour honed in his other life gigging as Keith Platt his comedic alter ego.
H often connects with the interviewees and they become chats, especially singers. Check out Derick Green from Sepultura, Knox from Enforced and recently Max and Igor (his son) from go ahead and die as good places to start.
It’s not just singers though, his chat with Andreas from Sepultura is a very different conversation - Andreas really goes a bit deeper and talks about his mindset, not just the tunes and any of the chats with his old mate Andy Sneap are also top notch.

Even when H interviews people I have no interest in I still tune in & listen to the news. Love the manic style & the personal stories as well. An actual legend of UK thrash in my ear holes almost every week.

I was in UK thrashers Hydra Vein during the late 80’s and some of your stories and such I can totally relate to. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work :)
