Wonderful stories and more...
Let’s pretend you’re sitting in a restaurant and on the next table are a bunch of musical giants...who wouldn’t want to listen in to that conversation? Well now’s your chance! Gary and Guy have collectively written and / or played on some of the most memorable music of recent years and are now collaborating on a venture that sees them sitting down with some of their peers to shoot the breeze on musical matters and much more. Compelling listening and we’re only two episodes in x
Rockonteurs - Episode 1, with Nick Mason
A great new podcast from Guy Pratt and Gary Kemp. A solid start from the first in a hopefully long series. With Nick Mason battling to get a word in edgeways with both hosts. Who while being members of Mason’s band, manage to convey a sense of real fanboy enthusiasm at the same time.
The fact that I’m not a fan of Pink Floyd and didn’t know most of the musical references that they refer to, did not diminish my enjoyment in any way.
I’m already looking forward to the next episodes in the series. One of which I know to be Bob Geldof. I’m pretty sure that that he won’t have let the hosts have as much airtime as Nick Mason.
