I discuss chronic spontaneous urticaria. Urticaria refers to hives. When it goes on for more than 6 weeks it's deemed chronic. Previously thought to be a type 1 inflammatory condition, it turns out it is a type 2 inflammatory condition like atopic dermatitis but with different manifestation but similar immune dysregulation and activating factors.

In this episode we discuss chronic rhino sinusitis which means chronic (more than 8 weeks) rhino (nose) and sinusitis (sinuses) with or without nasal polyps. What leads to this? What are the current treatments? What can we do about them? What do we know about them?
