In this special episode of The Arts & Everything In Between Podcast, we focused on how social distancing will impact re-opening and what arts and cultural industry leaders need to be considering when planning for re-opening. Kai Abderdeen, General Theatre Manager of Princes Theatre, Aisling Coyle, Box Office and Sales Manager at The National Concert Hall and Ben Cannell, Front of House Manager with Hertford Theatre joined host Paul Fadden in discussing challenges around social distancing, and looked at some practical solutions that  venues, theatres and festivals might try when planning for re-opening.

TOPICS COVERED IN THIS EPISODE:
How will two meters social distancing affect capacity for theatres, venue or festival? What does running costs for shows on reduced capacity mean and what are the implications? How will social distancing apply to casts on stage? What does lead in time for rehearsals now look like?? How should entry and exit plans be modified? How do first aid provisions need to be adjusted? How will intervals and the toilets be monitored and will there be a new process? How do we handle queues for bars and merchandise stands? Can we (and should we) look at Spain’s de-escalations plans for culture as a model? --------------------------------------
