Delivered!

Was so excited about this and it certainly delivered. Ron Livingston spoke really well, answering the well put-together questions from the host. Can’t wait for next week. Currahee

Game of two halves

Fantastic interviewees, so interesting to hear Tom Hanks and Ron Livingstone being so open and honest about this fantastic series which I have had the highest regard for since it’s release. But….Roger Bennett can’t help himself in overdramatising his questions and making them so long - clearly a man who loves his own voice. Sometimes less is more Rog!

Quit the jibber jabber Rog ,

What happens when the host gets in the way

I remember the original release having not been able to become an extra on it due to university finals.

The people and their stories need no embellishment as Tom Hanks said in his interview.

However I having battled through I lost the will to listen by esp 1 as Rog Bennett got in the way as his jibber jabber was painful.

Hosting is a hard role and his track record would not have gotten him this job without being capable.

Long convoluted pontification before reaching a questions. Continual aggrandisement to the point of blowing smoke and enjoying the sound of his own voice.

Ask the question. Stear the discussion. Then get out of the way of the guest.
