Black History Buff Podcast

Such a brilliant podcast that is really easy to follow and covers a variety of figures, historical events and personal stories throughout history mixed with some folk tales too. I’ve learnt so much listening to the series and I highly recommend the content that King creates on his social media platforms alongside the podcast. Thank you so much for making the podcast and the social media content.

When I found this podcast, I expected the same black history that I hear people quote so much about like MLK and Malcom X, but it’s more than that. You learn about other figures in history as well as African folk tales which I love. It’s made me want to delve deeper into my culture, keep up the great work.

I love this podcast, I’m a 62 years old woman of colour, we all have colour it just so happens that my colour is white! Several times I have heard you use the phrase ‘‘this is world history” and you are right this is world history, this is history that we should all know about, not just black people, to truly understand why we have come to a time when we have to shout aloud “black lives matter “ everyone needs to know the history of the world 🌍 It makes me sad when I hear you say this is for my people, black people.. are you trying to make a divide, white history, black history, there cannot be a divide regardless of colour this is our history! World History. Please don’t just deliver this to a black audience.. everyone should hear this! Thank you ☺️
