Incredible stuff

It’s only right that the GOAT should have a podcast made about her that is celebratory in tone, informative, and inspirational. Because throughout her career, Serena Williams has unfortunately been disrespected and dismissed. And that still continues today. This podcast stands alone as a tennis podcast that chooses to focus entirely on the greatness of Serena, but doesn’t shy away from discussing the toughest and lowest moments of her career.

Would you believe that there are still people who argue that Serena Williams isn’t the GOAT? So I ask them, what is it exactly that this woman has to do to get her just dues? She has the most slams in the open-era. If you’re going to argue that this doesn’t matter, then we may as well throw the entire concept of sporting history away, because sporting greatness in historical terms is always measured quantitatively. So thankfully, the opinions of the ignorant few will matter very little in the long-term.

Thank you for this podcast. I have loved every episode and absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about the life and career of Serena Williams, told by two supreme black female tennis players in their own right.

O.K. but not the G.O.A.T. podcast

Pulls together a huge amount of material from an array of sources. Therein lies the problem. As with ma ny things American the concept of 'less is more' is completely alien. The podcast is overly long and strung out. 'Bonus' episodes just drag it out even further. You're left with the feeling that the whole thing could have been done in about half the time. Did I learn anthing new about Brady? Sure, but the rare gems are buried amongst the mundane 'factoids', or as most people call them, 'facts'. Sadly there are plenty of the latter.
