British food was slowly-but-very-surely dying.

Until Calum Franklin came along.

Calum breathed fresh life back into British food.

Taking the humble, quintessentially British pie.

Turning it, Inside out.

Upside down.

Back

to

front

Reinventing our beloved Pie.

Ground-breakingly-banging and face-meltingly delicious flavours.

The Pies looked are art and architecture meets food.

Like ancient, baroque cathedrals from Rome or Paris or Milan or London.

2018, I remember stuffing my face at The Pie Room.

Warm waves of lusciously lucid memories are warming me as I type this on a blisteringly cold 8am train to Waterloo.

Calum was Executive Chef of the Holborn Dining room and founder of The Pie Room inside prodigious Rosewood hotel.

LOVED this conversation.

It's WAYYYY more than just absolutely-banging Pies.

It's a Masterclass in Accessing your UNIQUE creativity.
