Creating Magic with Kylee McGrane‪‬ The Winners Circle

    • Society & Culture

In this episode of the Winners Circle I get a chance to talk to Kylee McGrane, the executive director of A Moment of Magic. Her foundation focuses on providing creative programming to medically vulnerable children globally!
.
.
I’ve known Kylee for 5 years, but I never got the chance to have a deep conversation with her. We hit all topics from her upbringing in Pennsylvania, to her being bullied in highschool, and even the creation of A Moment of Magic. Her childhood revolved around being an exceptional student as well as participating in various sports such as softball, track, and swimming.
.
.
She even talks about how sports benefited her throughout her life. Mentioning how the power of teamwork and going “all in” with your effort were the two biggest takeaways from her athletic career.
.
.
Kylee even talks about transferring from a small highschool to a bigger one and how that impacted her. Not finding her friend group and being bullied was a difficult time for her but thanks to her parents - especially her mom Kylee was able to overcome that and continue her pursuit of magic!
.
.
Who would of thought Kylee wanted to be a writer? Well she did. She ultimately decided to go to the College of Mount Saint Vincent and pursue a degree in English and Communications. Later through her scholarship requirements she found a passion for helping others. The movie “Frozen” was the beginning, next was a club, then it was growing and before she knew it she had a full out business on her hands!
.
.
Kylee even gets deep and talks about the summer she sat her parents down and told them, she was staying in New York to pursue her dream with A Moment of Magic. For those who don’t know Kylee personally be prepared to meet a great person, fully living out her purpose while motivating and inspiring other young leaders throughout the nation!
.
.
Kylee thank you so much for the interview. Like I told you before, you have motivated me to continue grinding to make my business, “Be You Stay True” even better. Your never ending spirit, effort, grit, and hustle are the things that make you a true role model for young women and men alike. I wish you nothing but the best going forward for you and A Moment of Magic! 🌟
