#607 - Mike Thurston - Why Are Young Men Feeling So Lost?

Mike Thurston is a podcaster, YouTuber and a fitness model.
Me and Mike went to university together 15 years ago. Even though we were odd, awkward creatures, there was no pressure to get our life together. In 2023, it seems like there is much more pressure on both men and women to sort it out. What's changed, and why is life more confusing than ever before?
Expect to learn why Mike wants Derek from More Plates More Dates to test him for steroids, why going to university wasn't a waste of time, why Mike stopped drinking alcohol, what he thinks about Greg Doucette's Youtube Channel, why women are just as lost as men, the problems of masculinity in the modern world and much more...

#602 - Gurwinder Bhogal - 14 Shocking Lessons About Human Nature

Gurwinder Bhogal is a programmer and a writer.

Too bad about the foul language and blasphemy

Content wise, great podcast but put off listening to more episodes due to the host's unnecessary use of foul language and blasphemy

A great find

I had been a dedicated listener of a different podcast, one that is very well known and was based on interesting conversations around entrepreneurship but now appears focused on emotional celebrity life stories with a click-baity feel. This was very off putting and hence I needed to find a new podcast to fill my needs for conversations that are informative, inspiring and thought-provoking. Thank you Chris, as your podcast has met those needs very nicely! Thank you for staying focused on your theme of “modern wisdom” and not deviating from intellectual conversations with guests who bring so much to the table. Please don’t ever go the other way and look for “celebs” to bring you a wider reach. Just one small critique is sometimes the guest gets cut off when they want to flesh out their thoughts further - it would be great to let them have more space to fully air their ideas because that’s often where the ah-ha moments are. I’m really enjoying going through your extensive library and looking forward to what your next guest can bring to the table. Thank you!
