Thought provoking
An expansive podcast that is hosted eloquently and scrupulously executed by Chris who evidently researches his guests and their work thoroughly. I like that Chris converses with his guests with an already informed approach which allows for a greater dive in to their gift of knowledge. albeit often leaving me behind in terms of understanding but in turn, inciting a desire to research the topic of conversation deeper. Thought provoking. I particularly loved the latest episode with Graham Hancock.

Reading out quotes for a living

The guy literally makes a living out of reading out aloud quotes. Insane
Modern – perhaps. Wisdom… debatable?

I tuned in to this channel, seduced by the title « Modern Wisdom » for the podcast with Richard Dawkins – a controversial figure w whose views I had not previously explored and found the interview compulsive, although, towards the end, unfocused. Interviews would greatly facilitate their listeners were they to give an overview of the podcast at the beginning and plot the journey in a comprehensive and logical way. It wasn’t clear what the takeaway was, listening to this. And, it would be a courtesy to the listener and the interviewee, if the add breaks and interruptions where inserted more judiciously. With modern technology, professionalism is it difficult. It does make a difference, however, to the authority that a podcast projects and the influence it has. Wisdom – greater care in the selection of interviewees would better define this channel’s USP. Opinion
