An Antidote
One look at the title and I knew "Dawson's Creeps" was the podcast for me. I'm a long time Dawson's Creek fan and after a recent rewatch I needed a voice of reason to unpack the absurdity of this 90s gem. I deeply appreciate their unbridled contempt for Dawson, protectiveness and praise for Jen ("Jen Punishment Watch"!) criticism and love for problematic fav Pacey, and all round eye rolls for Joey. I'm only two episodes in and their love for Dawson’s Creek is clear, but it doesn't compromise the hosts' wickedly funny and smart analysis which gives much of this show's white patriarchal nonsense the dressing down it needs.
Simply brilliant!
Discovered this podcast via another beloved Dawson’s rewatch podcast. Omg it’s flipping brilliant! This pair have so much fun it’s infectious, their take is spot on and dripping with sarcasm. Give it a listen and you’ll be addicted ....I’m currently binging all the season 1 episodes.
