Dr Rupy Aujila: Medical Doctor and founder of The Doctors Kitchen

My guest today is Dr Rupy Aujila

You may know him as the Doctors Kitchen, he is a medical doctor working as a GP in the NHS.

In 2011 he helped himself overcome a pretty serious medial condition by overhauling his lifestyle and the food he ate. This was a lightbulb moment as he realised that a lot of patients would benefit from a holistic approach to both the body and the mind.

The Doctors Kitchen has gone from strength to strength with best selling cookbooks and hes also created the UK first Culinary Mecicine course. Through which he now trains other medics on the foundations of nutrition and how to cook.

My new obsession

Love these podcasts. Keep them coming!

C Ally ,

Love it!

I’ve discovered this pod cast recently I absolutely love it. Particularly clodagh mekennas. But lots of other great interviews. We actually asked the questions round the family supper table whilst we are in corona lockdown.

Really interesting, lively and informative

I found this podcast a while ago but have only just gotten around to listening, now I’m addicted and am binge-listening to all the episodes while cooking or driving or cleaning..

Desert island dishes has been a game I have played for years. I work as a private chef so naturally I’m interested in what are people’s ideas of their ultimate dishes and meals. I’m also incredibly indecisive so my own preferences do change somewhat and if Margie were to interview me it would be quite tortuous to have to decide the answer to the seemingly straightforward question of what is my favourite sandwich.

It’s really lovely to listen to so many diverse guests as to their best meals and tastes of childhood are, as well as stories from their life.

Really well done Margie and I can’t wait to hear more episodes! (Oh and have started to follow you on instragram)

Best,

Hannah

P.S please come back!
