About Katie Fielding
Katie has worked as a Haemodialysis Nurse for over 22 years.
Katie is currently undertaking a PHD looking at Patient experiences of Needling.
Katie is also training to become an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
Katie has led on a set of recommendations around needling, which are now the standard for needling practice for Nursing Staff within in the UK.
Katie has been involved in the MAGIC project (Managing Access by Generating Improvement in Cannulation) to help implement the recommendations into practice.
Katie has been involved developing a National competency document to standardise the standard needling practice for Nurses.
