E01 - Housing horror stories No More Beans: The Student Money Podcast

In episode one of a brand new podcast from Save the Student, editors and recent grads Jess and Tom share their horror stories on the perils of student housing.

First up we’ll be looking at the results of our recent Student Accommodation survey - we asked over 2,000 of you to share your worst experiences of university living, and the results are pretty shocking.

Jess and ‘Travelodge Tom’ will be sharing their own experiences (featuring KitKat-eating mice and German cockroaches), before we solve one of our listeners’ problems - this week all about how to save money on bills.

We called in our resident Money Expert, Jake Butler, to get the job done - his top five tips on cutting back bills could save you hundreds a year.

Finally, in this week’s money confessions Jess and Tom will be revealing the most unnecessary things they bought for university. How many were on your packing list?
