EP1 - Coming Out with Peter Humes My Queer Family

    • Society & Culture

National Coming Out Day (NCOD) is an annual LGBTQIA+ awareness day observed on October 11, to support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual people (and sometimes other groups typically grouped within the LGBTQIA+ community) to "coming out of the closet".

In this episode I will be discussing with Peter Humes about his Coming Out experience, bullying at school, friends and family, growing up in Nothern Ireland and moving to a new country where he finally felt accepted.
Coming out it's not easy and we understand that so take your time, build the courage you need to be yourself and be proud.
