Ultra Processed foods or UPF are foods that have been industrially produced and contain chemicals such as colours, sweeteners, thickeners and stabilisers.
Are they even food? Or should they be labelled as food like substances.
This week I share how much of our modern diet is made up of these substances and how to spot a UPF.

Fantastic podcast

I absolutely love listening to Wendy’s podcast. She offers lots of nutritional advice that is both sensible and achievable without being all scientific and difficult to understand. I learn something new every time I listen, with so many lightbulb moments where it all makes sense. I’m starting to make positive changes that I can actually stick to. Wendy is so down to earth, honest, passionate and inspirational. She’s so easy to listen to and engaging and it makes you feel like she’s sat there with you one to one Thank you Wendy ❤️

Fueling yourself with more than food

Wendy is one of the most knowledgeable people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Going further than this she explores the knowledge of others too and her contributors are some of the best and most focused specialists in their niches. Wendy really understands the mind body connection and everything she says she delivers with precision as well as an understanding that everybody and every body is unique and individual and responds to certain stimuli in different ways. When you listen to this podcast you are listening to ways to become more self caring and learn how to implement food practices that will not only help you achieve much more stable and time effective routines but will in turn help your long term mental health too. Also it’s just lovely to hear her guests’ life stories too! Some are funny, some are heartwarming, and many of them help you to understand why they became specialists in their respective fields.
