A tremendous episode which might have been a first meeting with Quinta for some, but by now with any luck you'll be well acquainted with her work and the wide world of Abbott Elementary! This episode was at a truly busy point of her career and it's only gotten busier, so enjoy this look back into the recent past to hear some wisdom and fun and good times from not long ago.

Brilliant Podcast!
I love these podcasts! Shame you have to listen to whining Americans droning on about their terrible podcasts during the ads since it moved to iHeart. Otherwise really good!
Human Traffic
The film that means the most to me is Human Teaffic. I watched it on the outside cinema at Glastonbury in 1999 with a field full of people laughing and dancing along then cheering when they kiss. When the sun comes up it was like real sunrise even though it was about 3am. Then I danced till the sun really came up with beautiful people. I’m a bit worried now though because Tom Neenan said it’s the film that doesn’t hold up now.

Too many films to choose from!
Love this show so much! Recently found it and have started from the very beginning…which is always a good place to start. I honestly would struggle to answer half of the questions and also realised I have not watch half as many films as I thought!
The film that probably means the most to me now, is Stand by me.
My older cousin used to babysit me of a weekend and we would watch this all the time while having cups of tea and custard creams, there was a 13 year age gap so I was probably about 4/5 at the time. I always turned away when they showed Ray Brower’s body! And still wonder why Donald Duck covers his bottom half up when he gets out the shower but not any other time.
My cousin was honestly one of my most favourite people, we sadly lost him in July to a short battle with cancer at 47. The day of his funeral I watched stand by me and the karate kid 2, 2 of his favourites. I know if he was alive today I would tell him about this podcast and ask him all the questions! I wonder what he’s picked for his movie night?
