Finding Grace episode 139 Navigating MS and healing alternatively with Alissa Frazier Finding Grace

    • Spirituality

In this episode of finding grace I’m joined by Alissa Frazier who is a health coach, therapist, and exercise consultant for women with Multiple Sclerosis.
Alissa believes MS doesn’t have to stop you from having an awesome life and she is on a mission to show people with MS that life is not over after diagnosis.
She is the founder of LissMS which offers a unique three-pronged approach to healing Multiple Sclerosis which includes a nutrient-dense whole foods diet, stress-reduction, and neuro-centered movement.
Alissa and I connected through a previous podcast guest and I look forward to sharing her on here today.
In this episode:
Alissa shares what finding grace means to her and the journey she’s been on. She shares her story and journey she’s had navigating MS and where thats taken her. We talk about the importance of hope on the healing journey. She shares about the importance of managing your energy and finding what works for you. We discuss why healing isn’t linear and why its journey rather than a destination. She shares the importance of taking bite size action and why this can help on building things in the long term. We talk about reconnecting with the body, as when we get sick we tend to disconnect. She’s shares what near centred movement is and how you can approach this. We discuss her three pronged approach to healing. She shares the importance of stress reduction and managing a busy life. She shares what’s bring her joy right now and what she’s doing to support herself. We discuss all this and more in this episode, we hope you enjoy.
